Terms of Use
May 20, 2026
These terms govern the use of Ges2l by visitors, institutional users, and administrators who access the platform.
Operational use of Ges2l is associated with the relationship between the contracting institution and the Ges2l team. The institution defines its users, modules, roles, and internal rules.
Service
Ges2l is an institutional platform with an API backend, web applications for accounts, admin panel, personal account, academic modules, and a public landing page.
The service supports management of institutions, users, roles, memberships, academic years, branches, students, teachers, guardians, groups, subjects, activities, attendance, assessments, files, and other processes included in available modules.
Acceptance
By accessing or using Ges2l, the user accepts these terms and the applicable policies of their institution.
If access was granted by an institution, the user must also follow the instructions, authorizations, and restrictions defined by that institution.
Accounts and credentials
Platform access is granted through individual credentials. Each user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and signing out on untrusted devices.
Ges2l uses web sessions with HttpOnly cookies and Redis. It may also provide JWTs for mobile or API clients when a flow requires it.
Institutions, roles, and permissions
An account may be linked to multiple institutions. Each institution independently manages its own link, roles, and access permissions.
Suspension or unlinking in one institution does not necessarily affect the user’s access to other institutions where they keep an active link.
Institutional administrator responsibilities
- Create and maintain authorized users.
- Assign roles according to each person’s actual responsibilities.
- Remove or suspend access when a person leaves the institution or changes function.
- Register personal and academic data only when there is authorization or a valid basis to do so.
- Review that institutional information loaded into the platform is correct and up to date.
Permitted use
Ges2l must be used for institutional, academic, administrative, and operational purposes related to the institution that granted access.
The user must not attempt to access information from another institution, bypass permissions, share credentials, interfere with platform operation, or upload content that compromises security or third-party rights.
Institutional data and content
The institution remains responsible for the information it records in the platform, including user, student, teacher, guardian, group, attendance, grade, file, and resource data.
By using the platform, the user authorizes their data to be processed for authentication, access control, academic and administrative management, reporting, auditing, support, and compliance with applicable obligations.
Files, photos, and resources
The platform may store profile pictures, institution logos, resources, and files in Cloudflare R2 when that integration is configured.
Users and institutions must upload only files that they are authorized to use within their institutional processes.
Availability, maintenance, and security
Ges2l depends on components such as the API, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare R2, Nginx, Docker, and configured services for email or error tracking.
Interruptions may occur because of maintenance, deployments, infrastructure incidents, or changes required for security and stability.
Access suspension or termination
Ges2l or the institution may suspend access that violates these terms, compromises the security of other users or the platform, or is no longer authorized by the institution.
Permanent data deletion must be requested from the corresponding data controller and will be evaluated according to applicable regulations and information retention obligations.
Relationship with the Privacy Policy
Personal data processing, cookies, vendors, data subject rights, and information retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms and the Privacy Policy should be read together.
Changes to the terms
Terms may be updated when modules, vendors, security controls, operating practices, or applicable legal requirements change.
Significant changes may be communicated by email to registered administrators or published on this page.
